He was excluded from the US Open for testing positive for Covid-19 at the end of last week, just before the start of the tournament.

Benoît Paire announced on Wednesday that he had passed a new test, which turned out to be negative.

“To tell you the truth, I tested negative.

I had a test which was negative two days ago (Monday).

I will do the tests again, but the last one was negative, ”said the French tennis player on Instagram.

“I feel very good, I have no symptoms,” he adds.

Tested positive on Saturday while in the health bubble of the US Open, Benoît Paire was excluded from the tournament and several other players were placed under increased surveillance, including his compatriots Kristina Mladenovic, Richard Gasquet, Grégoire Barrère, Edouard Roger -Vasselin and Adrian Mannarino.
