Before yesterday's Allsvenskan match between Helsingborg and Djurgården, there was a spread of infection in the home team.

Infection control Skåne advised against conducting any football activities and Helsingborg sent a petition to SvFF's competition committee to postpone the match.

But TK chose to go against infection control Skåne and also SvFF's own medical committee.

The next day, TK is still on its feet and it is believed that it was the right decision to play the match.

- We lean towards the international regulations that exist, that it is okay to play football matches.

All elite associations conduct professional work according to a protocol approved by the Public Health Agency and it is based on the fact that you can secure the workplace during the match day.

That was what made the decision.

We felt a strong belief that the associations work professionally with the protocol, he tells TT.

- Football is something that engages.

We knew that no matter what decision we made, there would be discussions.

We were ready for that

"Greater distribution"

SvFF's medical committee chairman Magnus Forssblad fears that the match against Djurgården may have consequences for Helsingborg.

- In the worst case, there will be a greater spread in the club.

And that's not good in that case.

In Djurgården, I do not think there is the slightest risk.

There are different changing rooms and you do not get infected during the match, says Forssblad.
