China , which had been postponed in its day, is permanently suspended. Only Vietnam , scheduled for April, remains postponed, although its final cancellation will soon take place.

Sochi , which will host the Russian GP, ​​on September 27, and Portimao , for the Portuguese GP, on October 25, expressed their willingness to welcome the public, while the season is currently running behind closed doors.

Massa's record

Since 2011 there has not been a race held at the Turkish Istanbul Park circuit. On that occasion Sebastian Vettel won , riding his Red Bull, on his way to the second of his four consecutive crowns. The record for victories there, in the seven editions that have been held since 2005, is held by Felipe Massa , who took three consecutive races (2006-08).

The closing of the season will take place in the middle of the desert. With two races in Bahrain , the Bahrain GP itself (November 29) and the Sakhir GP , on the same asphalt, on December 6. As is traditional, the Abu Dhabi GP will end the season at the Yas Marina circuit, although it will do so near the start of winter, on December 13.
