The Sharjah team tied with its guest Ittihad Kalba 2-2 yesterday at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium in Sharjah, as part of the quarter-tournament matches organized by Sharjah Club in preparation for the launch of the new season next month.

The tournament matches are held in three rounds, at a rate of 30 minutes for each half, due to the weather and high humidity. Sharjah had lost its first match in the championship against Ajman 1-2.

In yesterday's match, Sharjah advanced with a goal for its new player Salem Saleh (29), and substitute Shaheen Abdulrahman added the second goal (49), before the Kalba Federation reduced the difference with the Togolese goal, Bennel Malaba, (57), and Yaqoub Al Hosani tied for a tie for “67”. The performance of the two teams was affected in most of the match by poor physical fitness, heat, and high humidity, and both fought the match very cautiously for fear of injuries with the approaching start of the new season. The coach of Sharjah, Abdulaziz Al-Anabzi, gave the opportunity to a number of new members of the team to participate in the match, including Salem Saleh, who appeared for the first time in the Sharjah shirt. And at 6:20 pm today, Ajman will meet with its guest Khor Fakkan, who in turn tied with Ittihad Kalba in the last round.
