The player of the national team of physical strength, Rashid Lootah, confirmed that he benefited from the method used by the American champion of physical strength, Price Lewis, in dealing with the challenge of the Corona virus, and maintaining his technical skill and physical fitness and staying in the required readiness.

Lootah told Emirates Today: “I overcame the challenge of stopping sports activity due to the Coronavirus in innovative ways, and I followed the American hero, Price Lewis, in a way that he overcame the conditions of the virus, as the physical strength athlete could not stop and return to it easily because it is a sport that focuses on continuity. Accepting the challenge, therefore, a suitable solution must be found, and I am happy that I was able to do so and continue with high physical fitness. ”

He continued: “I was ready to play and compete at any time when the Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation asked me, and although the tournaments were suspended in most countries of the world, I found that maintaining my readiness is part of confronting the Corona virus.”

He added, "I prepared for myself a private training hall at home in the same manner as the American, Price Lewis, and used training and competitive videos for him and applied the exercises that he was doing."

He continued, "I have been in constant contact with the member of the Board of Directors of the UAE Federation and world champion Faisal Al Ghais Al Zaabi in order to obtain the available training information and to promote positivity, because it is a sport that needs a higher and positive focus."

Rashid Lootah is preparing to travel to Britain to complete his studies and continue his sport, awaiting the first championships that will be held during the next stage.

It is noteworthy that the most prominent results of the player Lootah were getting fourth place in the British International Championship, and second place in the Asian Championship in the Delft.
