Algeria reveals the new date for the African Nationals Championship

Algeria revealed yesterday the date of the seventh edition of the African Championship for local football players, which was postponed to the summer of 2022 after it was scheduled for the winter of the same year.

The official Algerian News Agency revealed that the tournament will be held between the tenth of July to the first of August 2022, so as not to coincide with the 19th edition of the Mediterranean Games hosted by the city of Oran, western Algeria, from June 25 to the fifth of July of the same year.

The African Championships for local players will be held in the cities of Algiers, Oran, Constantine and Annaba, where the modernization of the facilities concerned with hosting this competition will be initiated later.
