There were two youth teams that met in Avesta on Thursday night. In this strange year, the Swedish clubs can almost only use Swedish skiers. Of 13 drivers, eleven were Swedes and the average age was just under 24 years.

The kum team connected the grip and had 8-4 after the second heat when Joel Andersson and Ludvig Lindgren arranged a 5-1 to the guests.

But the Masars turned right through three straight heat victories. It was Kim Nilsson, Philip-Hellström Bängs and Antonio Lindbäck who arranged the turnaround.

The teams were followed during a large part of the match and after 10 heats it was 32-28 to Masarna. Then the home team slammed with a 5-1 through Hellström-Bängs and Lindbäck, and thus the match was decided.

The last heats paraded the Masars and extended the lead to a final victory with 51-39.

Old is oldest

The victory organizer was one of the older riders, namely 35-year-old Antonio Lindbäck who drove in 13 points. Other skiers were Kim Nilsson 12, Kimitri Bergé1, Philip Hellstörm-Bängs 10, Alexander Liljekvist 5, Aleks Lundquist 1.

Kumla Indians: Joel Andersson 13, Pontus Aspgren 11, Jonas Jeppesen 8, Ludvig Lindgren 5, Christoffer Selvin 1, Jonatan Grahn 1.
