IFK Gothenburg won the Swedish Cup on 30 July. Then there was great rejoicing in Blåvitt. But otherwise it has been stingy with winning matches for the Gothenburg club.

Today Blåvitt played 1-1 away against Kalmar. It was the team's tenth straight Allsvenskan matches without a win.

Goals by Israelsson and Sana

The last time IFK Gothenburg won the Allsvenskan was on July 2 at home against AIK, 1-0. After that, the club has lost three matches and played a draw in seven.

The goals in the match were scored by Erik Israelsson, who gave Kalmar the lead after a quarter. Tobias Sana equalized for Blåvitt after half an hour.

Christian Kouakou, a new acquisition from Brage, had a super chance in the second half. From close range he got the opportunity to give Blåvitt the lead, but Kalmar's goalkeeper Lucas Hägg-Johansson made a nice save.
