Now it is clear that Sverigeettan in the 5000- and 10000 meters will start in the Swedish Championships which starts tomorrow Friday.

She competes in both distances, 10,000 on Friday night and 5,000 meters on Sunday morning.

This is the first competition she has entered in since September 6 last year.

Diseases have made it more difficult

Bahta has had a difficult year. Partly coronary heart disease, partly problems with allergies in the spring and has had difficulty breathing during certain training sessions.

She has been tired and worn out in the spring. The body reacts differently to covid, someone gone ten weeks and someone coming back quite quickly. It has been a lot for Meraf. She felt good at training on Tuesday, writes Ulf Friberg.
