UEFA has appointed Danny Makkelie for Saturday's match between Manchester City and Olympique Lyon in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Makkelie will be assisted in Lisbon by Mario Diks and Hessel Steegstra. Jochem Kamphuis is the video referee in the Estádio José Alvalade and is assisted by AVAR Kevin Blom.
For Makkelie it will be his first Champions League match in months. The 37-year-old Dutchman was already in charge of the game between Bayer Leverkusen and Rangers FC in the eighth finals of the Europa League last week.
The Champions League will be completed this week in Lisbon, where all meetings will be decided in one match. Paris Saint-Germain was the first club to qualify for the last four on Wednesday by beating Atalanta.
The game between Memphis Depay's Olympique Lyon and Kenny Tete and Manchester City starts on Saturday at 9 p.m. If Lyon does not win the Champions League this month, Ajax will be assured of participation in the group stage of the million ball next season.
The other posters in the quarter-finals are RB Leipzig-Atlético Madrid (Thursday) and FC Barcelona-Bayern Munich (Friday).
