Take advantage of Nadal and Federer's absence

The participation of "Djoko" in the Cincinnati tournament, which was moved to New York from August 20 to 28, to prepare for the US Open, was already planned. On the other hand, following Rafael Nadal's already announced package, the organizers of Flushing Meadows needed to be reassured, it's done.

The US Open is scheduled to start on August 31. Holding titles from Wimbledon and the Australian Open, Djokovic had initially, like Nadal, asked the question of knowing if it was reasonable to organize the American stage of the Grand Slam while the Covid-19 is still very present there.

Among the other top tennis players, the Swiss Roger Federer (N.4) has already ended his season due to an injured knee, but the Russian Daniil Medvedev (N.5) will be there in New York, to defend a title won last year at the Cincinnati Central, then move on to Flushing Meadows.
