Erika Kinsey has had a hard time training during the spring when the USA, where she lives, has been shut down. Despite that, she jumped over 1.92 meters without tearing in Sollentuna. She was also close to finishing 1.95, but that stopped there.

- From tough training conditions in the US, she enters the season premiere and is on the verge of making 1.95 even. 1.92 error ride is an excellent start to this season, says SVT Sports expert Kajsa Bergqvist.

Kinsey, who won before the Australian Nicola McDermott and Sofie Skoog, previously told friidrott.se about the corona spring.

- It has been very tough mentally. We have had to be very creative when everything was closed in March due to corona. No access to indoor hall or gym, only outdoor training in snow and cold for over two months.

Montler over eight meters

In the men's length, Thobias Montler stood for a good competition with three jumps over eight meters. The last was also the longest and it measured 8.05.

- It's nice to be over eight meters again. Right now I still feel that there is a bit of adrenaline that is missing, to really light up the jump. I feel that it is a bit of a rejection on my part, says Montler to SVT Sport.

Khaddi Sagnia won the women's competition in 6.44 meters.

The pole duel between Angelica Bengtsson and Michaela Meijer was never very exciting when Meijer stopped at 4.44 meters. Bengtsson won at 4.64 meters.
