The young rider had fallen heavily after a sprint on a downhill false flat with Dylan Groenewegen, the latter having pushed him into the barriers. The offender subsequently apologized on the networks and the Deceuninck team has the firm intention of filing a complaint against the Dutchman for his gesture on his compatriot.
