Right now, a maximum of 50 people are allowed at public gatherings in Sweden, which means that in principle all competitions and matches currently take place without an audience.

However, following pressure from both sports and cultural Sweden, Minister of Culture Amanda Lind (MP) has promised that a new decision will be made on the issue within two weeks. A decision that could involve an audience could, however - no matter how welcome it will be for the clubs' finances - put the clubs in a tricky position. How should they then distribute the tickets? Especially when some clubs have thousands of season tickets sold?

- Our starting point is to treat all our audiences equally. We prefer not to choose between those who go and look at Djurgården. We end up in a tricky situation if it becomes a very low number, says Henrik Berggren to SVT Sport.

"Annual cards should be a priority"

For Djurgården's ladies, the situation is completely different.

- For our women's team that plays at the Stadium, 500 can certainly work very well to handle. We have to think about both our women's team and our men's team, says Berggren.

Niclas Carlnén, CEO of Malmö FF, is also aware that it can be tricky.

- We would try to get in as many as possible that we can handle based on the conditions that will apply. If we can get in 3,000, 6,000 or 10,000 people - and find a good system for it - it would be great.

Who should be allowed in?

- In the first place, it is definitely our annual card holders. Those who have an annual card should be given priority. Then it depends on how many it is. I will not say that it will be easy. But we will do everything we can to make it work.

- The annual card holders are given priority, it is important to ensure that everyone gets the opportunity. It also depends on how many matches are left. I think it is important that it happens now, that we do not wait too long because you have to involve many people in the discussion. If it is a priority, you must make such a decision as quickly as possible.

"Is definitely worth it"

For the Damallsvenska clubs, it will not be as difficult at all, as the vast majority of clubs have a much smaller audience than the men, and you welcome a decision on the audience, even if there are a few.

- It is absolutely worth taking in an audience even if there are only half as many as we want, says Vittsjö GIK's chairman Erika Nilsson.
