Malin Baryard is one of several big names who will start in the SM class in Falsterbo. Two of her teammates from the silver team in the WC 2018 are also in the starting field, PederFredricson and FredrikJönsson.
- I think it's fun, it benefits the national sport very much, says Peder Fredricson.
In addition, Rolf-Göran Bengtsson will make an extremely rare appearance on his old home turf.
- There are quite a few competitions running in Europe. In most cases, most riders at a higher level are out in other competitions, says Fredricson.
It will thus be a competition with many international jumpers in Falsterbo, who have never before hosted the Swedish Championships in jumping. For Peder Fredricson, however, an important competition awaits the following week, which contributes to him getting started with a less experienced horse.
- I'm going to jump with a horse named Crusader Ice. I have a race in Saint Tropez the week after so I take a slightly younger horse. It is clear that my horse is not as experienced as many of the other top names. But we will do our best and it will be a good experience for him.
