The Handball Association concluded a workshop reviewing the legal formula of its statute, which was held today at the Federation’s headquarters, and witnessed the attendance of representatives of 10 clubs, Al-Ahly Youth, Kalba Union, Al-Ain, Dibba Al-Hisn, Al-Bataeh, Sharjah, Wasl, Al-Nasr, Al-Dhaid, and Al-Jazeera.

Union President Mohamed Abdel Karim Julfar opened the workshop, which spanned five hours, and discussed the proposals of legal experts for club representatives, and their observations on the statute, especially that the discussion came on the basis of several objections submitted by the clubs last Wednesday during the presentation of the system in the Ordinary General Assembly, in light of the demand of the majority Clubs need to review the terms in general and legal in particular by specialized legal experts, because the basic system constitutes a basic pillar before entering the new electoral cycle 2020-2024.

The workshop discussed the six chapters that make up the articles of association, consisting of 81 articles, to end with the preparation of a new draft of the system, which included the new amendments, which are in line with the Olympic Charter, and the laws of the Asian and International Federations for handball, to be sent to member clubs no later than today, pending Present it to the next extraordinary general assembly, whose date has been modified to take place on the 13th of this month, instead of the 12th of the same month.
