Deprived of the European Cup after a new season which promised to be very disappointing, Coronavirus or not, Monaco does not intend to live around 8th place any longer. Niko Kovac, inducted in place of Spaniard Roberto Moreno a few days ago, has already activated all his networks to change the face of the Monegasque team before October.

According to @francefootball, Kovač would like to attract Götze where his salary would be a problem for Seville and Lazio. He would have convinced Jović to come to the rock but would wait for Zidane's decision. Moreover, he would like Kevin Vogt to strengthen the defense.

According to France Football, the Croatian coach would have targeted (among others) two big names his attack, looking like a bet for one and a huge blow for the other, if they come true. Kovc would indeed target former Borussia Dortmund striker Mario Götze, who has the advantage of being free and who would probably start against a big signing bonus and a comfortable salary. Disadvantage? He hasn't put one foot in front of the other since giving the World Cup to Germany in 2014, and it's been a while.

The other Monegasque target is said to be Luka Jovic, in total distress this season with Real, where injuries and integration difficulties have even put him behind Mariano in Zidane's mind. At only 23 years old, Jovic has yet to confirm his impressive season in Frankfurt and has already given his approval to Kovac. It remains to convince Real Madrid, who had released 60 million to bring him last year. Not easy.
