The coming season will be the first for Linn Svahn with the national team, so how it will be without Stina Nilsson, she has a hard time commenting on, but the fact that she has chosen to change sports she sees as inspiring.

- I somehow believe that everyone gets the best out of doing what they believe in and as soon as you do not do it, I think it is important to find something new to work towards. It feels like Stina really wants to do biathlon and that in itself is inspiring. To find something you are prepared to really give yourself to, says Svahn.

"Damn boring"

Is it you who takes over?

- I think it's damn boring to follow someone else's footsteps and become the "new".

But even if Svahn does not want to be the new Stina Nilsson, she of course has high goals.

- I would not say that I have peaked, but I have much more to give and that I want to do. There are some exciting years ahead. In three years, I may have stronger credentials here. There will be a World Cup, then there will be an Olympics and then another World Cup, she says and continues:

- I think it flows as I want and I do not think I will go slower next year than I did this year. And it went pretty well last year. But there are many who want to go fast, so it will be an exciting season.

"Gave me the hell not to be more distant"

Many sprinters try to get better at a distance, but this is not something that Svahn is interested in.

- I've given a damn not to become a distancer yet. I want to establish myself and continue to be strong in sprint. Then I think I will develop more than my sprint capacity anyway, she says.
