- Everyone should have the same chances, everyone should be treated equally. From what I have seen and how things are, I get disgusted, he says.

Robin Lehner accounted for 24 saves in the Vegas goal when the team debuted in the NHL bubble in Edmonton. But none of the rescues generated as much attention as Lehner and three more players got on their knees before the match in support of the fight against racism and social injustices during both the American and Canadian national anthems.

- Everyone talks about conversation, education and listening, but it's time for us to start acting and not just let this be a short news and then forget everything to just see it come back, says Lehner.

Time to act

The four players - Lehner and Ryan Reaves in Vegas and Tyler Seguin and Jason Dickinson in Dallas - thus joined Minnesota's Matt Dumba, who this weekend knelt during the national anthems and gave a passionate speech.

- In the end, I love the United States, but there are a lot of things that need to be fixed, says Lehner.

- It's just about the will to do something. It's time for whites to get into the fight with our brothers and sisters and stop just talking about it, and actually do something.

Kucherov Tampa Bay Hero

In the game itself, Vegas scored four goals in the final period against Dallas. The final sprint gave victory with 5-3 in the seeding qualifier. The last goal scorer was William Karlsson, who with 21 seconds left to play punctured the match in an open cage.

Earlier in the night, Tampa Bay had begun the Western Conference seeding qualifiers in the best possible way. And much thanks to Nikita Kucherov. The Russian star became a great match hero against Washington when he first scored the first goal of the match and later set the decisive penalty at 4-3.

In between, Tampa Bay had gone up in a two-goal lead before Washington equalized the event - the last goal, by Yevgeny Kuznetsov, on a pass from Nicklas Bäckström.

Bäckström missed the penalty

When the penalty then took over, Victor Hedman began to miss for Tampa Bay. When Kucherov in the third penalty round placed his penalty in goal, it was up to Nicklas Bäckström to keep Washington in the match. His penalty, however, was easily taken care of by Andrei Vasilevsky in the opposing goal.

Washington may try to scratch new courage against Philadelphia the night before Friday, Swedish time. The question is whether John Carlson is on the ice then. The hill did not participate against Tampa Bay, and the club has not revealed why.

- All I can say is that he could not be with tonight. We will evaluate the situation tomorrow, says coach Todd Reirden.
