On April 26, 2006, Henrik Lundqvist scored for Rangers when they met the New Jersey Devils in the playoffs. Since then, he has started 129 straight playoff games for the club, but tonight he is sitting on the bench.

The suite is the third longest in NHL history and he only needed five straight starts to pass Colorado legend Patrick Roy. The Devils' icon Martin Brodeur has the most starts in a row with as many as 194 pieces.

The New York Rangers face the Carolina Hurricanes in the so-called play-in series and after two straight losses now have the knife to their throats. If you lose, you have finished playing in the NHL for this year.
