  Subsequently, F1 officially updated the calendar and announced that the Nürburgring in Germany, Portimão in Portugal, and Imola in Italy have officially joined the 2020 calendar.

  ​The newly added German Nürburgring Grand Prix will be held from October 9th to 11th. The last time this circuit was held in F1 was in 2013; the Portuguese Portimão circuit will be held from October 23rd to 25th. The 12th race of F1 of the season will be held on Japan, which is also the first F1 race in the history of this circuit.
