The first match will be played on September 12 and the final round will be decided on May 23, 2021. The game schedule for the season is not clear.

The Premier League writes on their website that they will continue to set the schedule for all matches in consultation with the FA and EFL.

The first rounds are said to be played in front of empty stands. The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson recently opened for the audience to return to the arenas - but no earlier than 1 October.

The current season, which is severely delayed due to the cessation of the coronavirus, ends on Sunday.
