Clubs in the Arab Gulf League differed about the preparations for the new season, which is scheduled to start on the third of next September, between those wishing to establish foreign camps and the preparations within the country.

Hussein Al-Jazeera's football director, Hussein Suhail, confirmed that his team is seriously considering setting up an external camp during the preparations for the new season. He said in press statements after announcing the draw for the new season, "It is difficult in light of the current climatic conditions in the country for the team to prepare for the new season in the required way, especially since the players have been away from football for a long time, due to the Corona pandemic."

He added: "We have met several times with the Dutch coach, who wants to take the team to an external camp, and we are currently studying all possibilities regarding the location of the camp."

He continued: "I hope that the Football Association and the Professional Association will help the clubs in the process of preparing for the new season by providing the facilities that each club needs in relation to the method of its preparations, especially those wishing to travel to establish an external camp."

For his part, Nayef Al-Mansoori, a member of the Board of Directors of Khorfakkan Club, believes that it is better for his club to prepare for the new season with an external camp, indicating that the board of directors will meet within the next few hours to approve the establishment of an external camp and the place of residence.

Al-Mansouri said, “Khorfakkan is looking forward to a good season, which will be an extension of the returns that we have shown in the second leg of the canceled league.”

He added: “The absence of Khorfakkan in the pathological form at the beginning of last season had its reasons, especially since the team remained for a period of 11 years away from the professional league, and some obstacles may occur at the beginning of its return, but we have learned from the experiences of the past, and we will be ready for the season the new".

As for the supervisor of the ball in Al Wasl Club, Hamid Youssef, he said: "There is no room for running an external camp, and the team will be satisfied with the internal preparations."

He explained: "The obstacle in conducting an external camp is represented in the procedures followed for the state that we are going to go for this purpose, and we also have fears of what we could face if any player was infected with the Corona virus."

He continued: «That is why we preferred to prepare inside the country, and we are working on preparing alternatives in relation to training in two periods, as we usually allocate the morning period inside the fitness hall, or inside the group gym in Al Wasl Club, and I imagine that things are going well during the week The first of the preparations ».

In turn, the head of the football club in Fujairah Club, Nasser Al-Yamahi, stressed that it is difficult for his team to fight an external camp because of the Corona pandemic, which is still widespread in all countries of the world, but if conditions permit, there is no objection to that, as he put it. He said, "All the clubs work in exceptional circumstances in terms of preparations, as well as the friendly matches that you will play in preparation for the new season, so we have agreed with the new coach to set up a camp in Abu Dhabi, specifically in the Officers Club, for a period of 10 days."

He added: "We consider in the Fujairah Club that the two encounters of Ajman in the Arab Gulf Cup will be the best preparation for the new season in terms of technical and also moral, so that we enter the league competition and we are in the best possible way."
