The Egyptian Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, Ali Al-Muselhi, stressed that there is no dispute between Al-Ahly or Zamalek over the registration of the title of the Club of the Horn of Africa in the ministry, noting that there is no basis for the idea that the ministry gave the brand to Al-Ahly and did not give it to Zamalek.

Al-Musalihi told MBC Egypt, according to the Yala Koura website: “The idea of the brand has been around for 80 years, and Egypt is represented in the World Federation of Trademarks and Industrial Models. Brand, based on research and scrutiny, the trademark is awarded. "

He added: "Al-Ahly was brought in from the African Union based on certain results, as it was the Club of the Century in this matter, and that was in 2007, and we confirmed the sources of these documents, and this slogan was registered."

He continued: "Zamalek Club and with all its appreciation, its president submitted a request to record this matter and the research is underway. If there are documents that prove this to be true, then if there are no documents, we will not be certified because everything recorded here is recorded abroad."

Al-Muselhi concluded his speech by noting that the possession of a paper from the Internal Trade Authority and the marks and industrial models stating the handing over of the registration is a purely administrative matter, and when the search and checking are done, they will say "benefit or not."
