It will be after the last home game of the season and the tradition is that the medals will be awarded to a clear champion in connection with that occasion. Former big player and coach Kenny Dalglish (playing coach when Liverpool with Glenn Hysén in the team last won the league in 1990) will be presenting dents and medals at a specially built stage at the iconic grandstand section The Kop, which will be decorated with flags and club symbols , at Anfield.

Given the current corona pandemic, no fans, or a very limited number, will be present at the match and the award ceremony. Liverpool have launched the hashtag #LFCathome and urged fans not to gather outside Anfield.

The match will also be broadcast on public television to get people to stay at home.
