Christopher Aurier, brother of the famous Ivorian international footballer Serge Aurier, was shot dead Monday at dawn in Toulouse, we learned from a police source.

When the emergency services arrived at the scene of the shooting, shortly after 5 am in an industrial area on the outskirts of Toulouse, the 26-year-old man was injured in the abdomen, he was transported to the hospital, where he is dead, according to firefighters.

On the La Dépêche website, we learn that Christopher Aurier, "unfavorably known to justice [according to a police source]", frequented the dancing bar "Le Kin's", located in the Thibaud area in Toulouse, at the time of the events.

Investigators from the Regional Judicial Police Service (SRPJ) have taken up the case. The reason for the murder remains unknown, and the gunman fled, according to a source familiar with the investigation.

Little brother of Tottenham's right side, Christopher Aurier also played football, but at an amateur level.

Christopher Aurier was trained at RC Lens, like his older brother, but did not break through to the highest level.

He was currently a licensee at JET, the Young Toulouse Agreement, which paid tribute to him on Facebook. Tottenham also assured Serge Aurier, who has passed through the ranks of PSG, of his support on social networks.
