The American Football Association (NFL) announced the postponement of the Toronto and DC United match shortly before it was held Sunday in Orlando, due to "an unconfirmed infection of a new Corona virus, in addition to an inconclusive test for another player."

The two teams had already announced their squad in the match, which was postponed just 20 minutes before its start.

"Under the league's health and safety protocols, clubs are tested one day before each match," the league said.

"Because of the date the two clubs arrived in Orlando, the league protocol called for a retest of the two teams this morning and awaiting the results of those tests before the start of the match," the association added.

This delay is another blow to the championship held in one of the stadiums located in the resort (Walt Disney World) in Florida, after the withdrawal of the Dallas and Nashville teams earlier due to many positive tests for the Corona virus.
