"The tests showed this morning that the first team player, Antoine Griezmann, suffers from a muscle injury in the right thigh," the Catalan club said in a statement.
For its part, the newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" indicated that the injury will exclude Griezmann from the remaining two games for Barcelona in the League this season, and that the team hopes to return to the second leg of the final price of the Champions League competition on the eighth of August.
Barcelona host Italian Napoli in the second leg, after drawing 1-1 back.
