ANDRES INIESTA
2010 : The man who forever changed the history of Spanish football with his goal in the 116th minute of the final. He came after a bad year due to injuries at Barça, but Del Bosque always trusted him, starting from the left side of the attack.
2020 : He hurries his last years as an active footballer in the Vissel Kobe of Japan, which he arrived in 2018 after closing his stage in Barcelona, the year in which he also left the selection. At 36 years old, he still offers soccer recitals in the league of the Asian country.
VICENTE DEL BOSQUE

2020 : After suffering a heart attack a little over a year ago when he was training with Porto and already discarded the option of running for the RFEF presidential elections , Iker ponders the best time to announce his final retirement at 39.
XAVI HERNANDEZ
2010 : Engine of the best Barcelona in all history, Del Bosque entrusted him with the mission of also governing the national team football. The Catalan organizer was the great paradigm of the Spain of the 'tiki-taka' that redefined soccer in the last decade.
2020 : He retired a year ago in Qatari Al-Sadd , a team he now trains. His name is still relevant today for his eternal candidacy for the Barça bench and for his controversial statements in which he ensures that Qatar lives better than in Spain.

SERGIO BUSQUETS
2010 : Already established as the starting midfielder of Barcelona , the Catalan was one of the greats noted after the defeat with Switzerland in the first match of the World Cup. Del Bosque reinforced his confidence in him and went on to say that he was the player he would like to look like.
2020 : Little or nothing has changed for him in this decade. It remains an indisputable piece for both Barcelona and the Spanish team. He is 31 years old and, although it is not being his best season, the football decline is still not guessed.
GERARD PIQUÉ
2010 : He formed with Puyol one of the best central pairs in history. His was, together with that of Busquets, the great breakthrough in the national team after the 2008 Euro Cup. And in South Africa he met his current partner and mother of his children: Shakira.

JOAN CAPDEVILA
2010 : He was not the best winger in the world, he was not a superstar and, despite everything, he was capital in the defense of the team, without competition on the left side. His interview with a bucket on his head is one of the unforgettable non-soccer moments of the World Cup.
2020 : After passing through Benfica and Espanyol, he exoticized his career: Belgium, India and Andorra . Since September, he has been responsible for institutional and sports relations for Espanyol, assuming the role of spokesperson for the club.
PEDRO RODRIGUEZ
2010 : He had a secondary role in the World Cup until Del Bosque decided to give him the title in the semifinals . He drove the German defense crazy and won a spot in the eleven of the final. He was arriving in South Africa as an important player for Barcelona .

FERNANDO TORRES
