A news report stated yesterday that the management of the Saudi Al-Ahly Club began direct contacts with the Saudi Football Association in order to secure the return of Brazilian Joseph De Souza, the first team soccer player to Al-Ahly, from his country, where the club pledged to provide a private plane for him.
De Souza had defaulted on the plane provided by the federation to return players of local clubs from Brazil last week, because he was confirmed to have contracted the new Corona virus (Covid-19) after the medical examination. The Saudi newspaper, Al-Riyadiah, said that private sources revealed to her that the Al-Ahly administration was awaiting the result of the second examination, which was conducted by De Souza two days ago, as it would provide him with a private plane to return him, accompanied by his family, to Jeddah, in coordination with the Football Association, if the results of the examination were negative.
