The Algerian Football Federation announced today the death of former international referee Mohamed Koraji, due to his infection with the new Corona virus. On Wednesday, the Algerian Confederation revealed, in a brief statement, that Coraji was infected with the Coruna virus.

Koraji, 68, began the arbitration in 1974, and ended his career with Al-Safra in the late 1990s, after managing scores of matches locally and internationally.

The most prominent games that he managed were the final of the Algerian Cup competition in 1996, which crowned Mouloudia Oran at the expense of USM Blida, and he also participated in the African Nations Cup in South Africa in 1996.
