The match wasn't even played in the quarter when Dejan Kulusevski presented himself away to Verona. The Swede got a pass outside the penalty area, ran away from one defender and then turned away another before putting in 1-0 with his left foot.

Verona went 1-1 in the first half and 2-1 in the second before it was time for Kulusevski again.

The 20-year-old turned and writhed before heading off just outside the penalty area. The goalkeeper saved but on the return, compatriot Riccardo Gagliolo chipped and splashed 2-2.

Kulusevski then had several good positions which he created on his own with technical skill and nice fins.

Nevertheless, it was Verona who got the last word. With 81 minutes played, Matteo Pessina of home team won 3-2.
