The victory was Johnson's 21st in the PGA and also meant his thirteenth season in a row with at least one top spot on the tour.

- I am definitely proud that I manage to continue the suite. It has been a long time between the victories, but hopefully it will not be as long for the next one, he says in a TV interview after the round.

Henrik Norlander finished in 41st place, eight strokes under par. He played consistently throughout the competition, going all round on 68 strokes (two under par).
