This year's 50-person jury, with the motto "achievement by population", has said its own and left their personal lists. After Partille won a record-breaking match against Umeå last year, the trophy will move on. But was?

Today, we can see that Boden and Sandviken, who were the two new municipalities that passed the criteria to be included in the vote, both received points from the jury, but too few to reach the top 25 which is the official ranking.

Compared to last year's top 25, there are four cities that have now disappeared from the list. It is Linköping (15 last year), Södertälje (19), Gävle (23) and Falkenberg (24).

Both Södertälje (four 2011) and Gävle (six 2012) have been top 10 before but that was a few years ago. Linköping, on the other hand, was fifth in 2017 and on the podium as third 2018.

- The football ladies were disappointing last year in Damallsvenskan and LHC men were only eleven in SHL. After the season, the previously so successful volleyball teams also withdrew from the elite series. Linköping only got four jury points (two ninth places) by the 50-man jury and now ended off the list after six straight years in the top 15, comments SVT's Ola Bränholm, who is responsible for Sweden's best sports city.

The countdown of the top 25 starts Wednesday, August 12.
