The Norwegian Ski Association raised a stir in 2019 when they revealed that Fossesholm has been granted a dispensation for taking doping-classified growth hormone for three years. 137 cm short as a 13-year-old and today she measures 151 cm, but through her successes have created happier headlines and hopes - but also a braking environment.

- I think she should let go of the worst press. We know she can take part in the World Cup and we know that the transition to start competing in the World Cup is tough, says national team manager Espen Bjervig.

Last year it became double JVM gold and a chance in the World Cup where she finished sensationally fifth during a world cup race in Falun. Fossesholm is already celebrated by its great role model.

- It's incredible to have Helene on the team. She is an offensive and strong-willed girl who is fearless, says Therese Johaug.

- Of course, there is extra focus on Therese (Johaug). She is the worlds best and there is something to snap up. I learn something all the time, says Fossesholm to NRK.
