Reactions to the "Club Club issue" raised by Zamalek club president Mortada Mansour have finally continued, 20 years after the traditional Al-Ahly club won the Club Century title in Africa.

International newspapers have shed light on the case, and some have mocked Zamalek's move to file a complaint with the International Sports Court for the title of the Club of the Twentieth Century, despite the lapse of 20 years since the decision was issued.

The Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport" expressed surprise at the Zamalek complaint, and said: "The President of Zamalek requests the Sports Arbitration Commission to cancel the decision of 2000, which was sufficient to reward its domestic competitor."

She added: "Elephants are said to have a long memory, and it seems that the Egyptians are not joking. After twenty years have passed since the CAF was awarded the title of the Horn of Africa team to Al-Ahly, its traditional competitor Zamalek decided that this title would be in his favor."

The Zamalek Club had reopened the issue of the title of the Century Club with and decided to form a committee headed by Chancellor Ahmed Jalal Ibrahim to prepare the complete file and documents for international control.
