German cross-country skier Malaika Mihambo took the World Cup gold last fall with a personal best of 7.30 meters. Her plan to develop even more, as an athlete and human being, is to move to the United States and be trained by the legends Carl Lewis and Leroy Burrell.

- It's time to take such a big step now. Carl Lewis and Leroy Burrell, who will be my sprint coach, were among the best in the world for many years, says Mihambo.

- I can learn a lot from them.

Lewis is a nine-time Olympic champion in long jump and sprint running (including relay races) and Burrell has both won the Olympic and World Championships at 4x100 meters and had the world record at 100 meters twice.
