FHM and the government have announced that competition sports in Sweden can once again start. A message that many have long been waiting for.

- I think it's good, within the framework of it being done safely, says Peder Fredricson.

For the world elite, however, it is special, the top horses usually compete exclusively internationally, where it is about ranking points and big prize money .

- For my top horses it doesn't mean much, they are already trained and do not have to compete just to compete. They will not compete until they open international competitions. We don't know when the sport will really start again, he says.

- But for our business, this still means a lot. And for my sporting bet in the long run, it's very good. I have to focus on where I want to be in 2022, 2023 and then you have to build horses for the future.

"Applies to keeping focus"

To come out and compete again, Peder Fredricson looks forward.

- I think it feels very motivating to invest in the future with my younger horses. It's about keeping focus on what I can influence, he says.

And he doesn't think it will be a problem for the equestrian sport to be able to hold competitions.

- I think it will work if everyone takes their responsibility and as long as it is outdoors. We are used to keeping a horse length distance.
