SHL had to play the basic series of the season in front of empty stands before the corona pandemic forced the decision to cancel the season.

The next SHL season is scheduled to start on September 19, but depending on how the pandemic develops, things may change.

- We work after getting started then. Then we will see if it will be with or without the audience, but no other message will come from us before our Annual General Meeting on June 18.

Hemlin points out that it is four months to the series start and it is still too early to comment on how one will act.

- SHL works internally with different scenarios. It is about making different adjustments in the game schedule depending on how the development looks. Today, there is no reason to reconsider the start on 19/9.

The hockey season officially starts on August 1, and until the start of the series, the team has scheduled training matches.

- Most teams go on vacation at the end of June and then we have to have a planning done.
