The European Union of European Football Association (Wifa) considered the Slovenian Alexander Ceverin that the French League's decision to end the soccer season in late April, against the backdrop of the government's decision was "premature."

The association announced on the 30th of last month the final pause of the season and the culmination of leaders Paris Saint-Germain the title, nearly 48 hours after the political authorities announced the freezing of sports activity, even without an audience, until September due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.

"For me, the decision was premature ... This is not perfect, because things can get better and everyone can play again, except for some tournaments," Cheverin said.

He added: "We have two French clubs competing in the Champions League (Saint-Germain and Lyon), and in this case they will not play until August."
