Carlos Sainz Jr., 25, comes from two season with McLaren and together with Charles Leclerc becomes the youngest duo in Ferraris modern history.
- I have an important year ahead of me with McLaren and I look forward to competing when the season resumes, says Sainz.
Sainz Jr. has run 102 Grand Prix and took his first and so far only podium place in F1 when he finished third in Brazil's GP in November.
