The Corona pandemic caused players to stay indoors for several weeks, during which they limited themselves to individual training in tight spaces, so how does this affect the level of players when the European League matches that the German Football League begins on May 16 resumed.

FC Barcelona head of physical preparation, Fran Soto, says that the two-month period of home quarantine negatively affected players who returned to team training with only 30% of the physical readiness that they were supposed to be at this time of the season.

Soto added that the LaLiga and Spanish Federation protocols to prevent the spread of the Corona virus between players after returning to group training, reinforce the crisis of the physical preparation team in working on a program that compensates as much as possible the fitness lost by the players, especially since there is not enough time to prepare a period of preparation appropriate to resume matches .

He admitted that the aforementioned doubles the players' injuries, indicating that the first match will be the most dangerous for the player's safety after this long period of stopping the competitions.

Boubaker Hanachi, a former Tunisian fitness coach and African Confederation lecturer, agrees with Soto about the major negative impact that players have at home on the level of football fitness, which includes technical skills, jogging, speed, agility and direction change.

Hanashi said in his interview with Al-Jazeera Net that the home training does not in any way compensate the daily training of players over the field, because football has its own character, as it plays on a certain field in which the player performs individual and group skills, while the role of training at home is limited to not overweight, Maintaining a minimal level of fitness, improving functional and general strength and flexibility that reduces injuries.

And the training professor at the Faculty of Physical Education and the international lecturer, Dr. Jamal Al-Namki, said that the circumstances of the Corona pandemic are a big crisis whose effects on the teams will vary according to their different ownership of crises, and there is a rule in the science of training that says that if the player is absent from group training three days he feels a change, and if increased to five he feels The team changes the player, but if he misses a week, the fans feel the player changes.

In his speech to Al-Jazeera Net, Al-Numaki monitors the expected negative effects on the players when the matches resume, and summarizes them in the decrease in the maximum air capacity of the players, with a decrease in the general and technical physical level as well, indicating that this will negatively affect the performance of the teams and will lose the harmony that characterized them before stopping, especially that Concerns about Corona infection remain.

He expected that the teams with the highest levels of competition would be the fastest in restoring their nature, and that there might be a significant retreat for some teams resulting in great defeats for them, as he expected a large number of injuries when the matches returned.

In turn, the sports critic of Al-Ahram newspaper, Hamdi Al-Husseini, expects that the level of all teams will decrease a lot as a result of the long period of home training, which is considered to be the goal of maintaining weight and the minimum level of physical fitness only, because the players will miss the fitness of matches and the feeling of the ball and the area on the field.

Al-Husseini said in his interview with Al-Jazeera Net that the major leagues - especially the Premier League - will return formally only to reduce the huge financial losses that will occur to everyone if the season is canceled, especially since the summit is decided for Liverpool, and even the teams qualified for the European championships are almost settled, so it is not important for the teams Performance on the field is as important as the money the clubs will save from being lost.
