Earlier on Tuesday, Rikard Grip was announced as the new secretary general of the biathlon association. Grip then told SVT Sport that Stina Nilsson was peppering him to take the job. "Follow your dreams" was the message from Nilsson.

- I said he would not do anything for anyone other than his own. But I have not wanted to press on, it may sound strange, but we have not actually talked much about this. We talk more about training, says Stina Nilsson to SVT Sport.

Was not about a "coup"

She also wants to point out, just like Rikard Grip, that they had not talked to each other beforehand about the switch to biathlon.

- These are two separate decisions and are more about us being two driven people who are happy to seek new challenges. And now we happened to be looking for new challenges in the same place.

What can he add as a leader?

- Safety and routine. I know Rikard has a lot of experience from previous championships. But it is a rewarding and obvious course, he will bring new ideas but surely learn as well.

And how are you doing right now with the shooter training?

- I hang a lot on the dike. It's been super fun. Will probably hang there a lot this summer too.
