Omar Zakari, player of the Tunisian football club Ben Qirdan, has become the first player in his country to be infected with the new Coruna virus.

Zakri, 25, announced through his official Facebook account that he had contracted the virus with some members of his family through his infected grandfather.

Zakri said in his Facebook post that after his grandfather was confirmed to have the virus, he and his family members were tested, who also tested positive, but without symptoms.

The player indicated that their health is good, but they will be subjected to quarantine for 14 days, asking those he met recently to take their precautions, in reference to the examination of Corona as well.

Zakari played for many Tunisian clubs, including the coastal star, Hammam-Nif, in addition to Saudi Najran.
