At present, discussions are being held between the World Cup organizer in Höljes and the promoter IMG about alternative solutions.

- We hope, of course, to be able to run as planned. Otherwise, we will try to get something later in the season. We really want to include Höljes in the calendar this year, says Paul Bellamy, CEO of the World Cup series at IMG.

Yesterday it was decided that the Belgian competition at the Spa will be moved from 16-17 May to 3-4 October.

This follows a directive from the Belgian Public Health Authority where all outdoor sports events are suspended for the time being due to the corona pandemic.

- It is a very difficult situation. The situation is different country by country and the question is when the countries open. Right now we are trying to find new dates for Spain, Portugal and Norway, Bellamy continues.

Timmy Hansen is pleased that no competitions are currently set.

- Probably there will be many races in a short time this fall. Until then, we can all do our part and avoid social contacts as best we can. The only thing we can do to get the community and even the rally cross season going again.

- The goal is that we will be able to run a World Series 2020, Bellamy concludes.
