Spanish Football Confederation President Javier Tepas confirmed that there was no thought to end the 2019/2020 season before the end of his rounds.

Tibas indicated that such a move could expose the clubs to losses of up to one billion euros.

The football activity in Spain stopped indefinitely after the worsening of the Corona virus crisis, while the country entered a state of emergency that lasts until at least April 26.

"If the competitions are not completed, the economic impact on the Spanish clubs will reach about one billion euros, including the revenues of the European championships," Tepas told ESPN today, Tuesday.

"The figures are not only based on league revenue, but also include money that teams will not receive from the Champions League revenue," he added.

He explained, "The losses will reach 300 million euros if the matches are played without an audience, and it will be 150 million euros if the season resumes in the presence of the fans, due to the damage that has already occurred."
