Just like sports in many other countries, the playoffs in the Finnish hockey league were canceled because of the corona virus, but now comes news for all the country's hockey enthusiasts. On April 8, the first round of the Finnish hockey final game will be started virtually with the help of video games.

The matches are broadcast on Finnish TV, just like a regular hockey match, and commented on.

- What we know is that we are the first hockey league to go online to end the season. It is great that we can offer entertainment to all hockey enthusiasts, says Aija Saha, marketing manager of the Finnish hockey league, in a press release.

The matches are played one on one and first to three wins. All ten teams that reached the playoffs will be included.
