Lisa Hörnblad will soon be back in skiing again after the injury she suffered in the summer of 2019.

- It's very, very close. Maybe two weeks, Lisa Hörnblad tells Östersunds Posten.

The 24-year-old, who has the downhill race and the super-G as specialties, also says that she is investing in another discipline season to come.

- My plan is to run more big slalom and hopefully be competitive so that I can compete in the world cup in big slalom too.

The new venture naturally affects the training program.

- There will be more training with the team's national team, which feels very fun. I have many friends there. The technology in the big slalom will benefit me in speed.

Hörnblad has two World Cups, Sankt Moritz 2017 and Åre 2019, on the track record and also competed at the 2018 Olympics.

The Alpine national team has suspended its operations until September 1 due to the corona virus.
