Organizer Marathon Group announces that the Stockholm Marathon will instead be decided on September 5.
Those who are registered will have their starting place automatically moved to September 5. At the same time, the organizer writes that they cannot repay the starting fee to the runners who cannot participate on September 5.
“We who organize the ASICS Stockholm Marathon is a non-profit organization where all the surplus goes back to the sports movement which, even before the corona eruption was under-funded, and which is now facing its biggest economic crisis ever due to canceled and moved events. We are doing everything in our power to make our business survive this crisis so that we can continue to organize exercise for many more years, ”writes the Marathon Group on its Facebook page.
Last year's annual runner-up party in the capital attracted 12,845 runners to start.
