Less than half an hour ago, the British newspaper "Daily Mail" revealed that the leaders of the European national federations and officials of the European Football Association reached the decision to postpone the European League and Champions League competitions until next summer, provided that the competitions will be held in July and August.

The newspaper said that a source in the German "ZDF" channel leaked the decision before it was officially announced later. She also indicated that, in agreement with the Football Association, all international matches for the national teams were postponed until the autumn of September and October.

European football leaders have been meeting through video communication for the past two hours now, in an effort to resolve the fate of the most important European competitions, which have been suspended due to the spread of the new Corona virus in the old continent. It is noteworthy that the European Champions stopped at the round of 16, as they did not complete half of their matches.
